Chord:

After setting his laptop off to the side, Chord stood up from his spot on the couch and raised his arms, stretching back. It was a Saturday and he was off for the weekend, so he had spent his days do nothing productive. Well, he went grocery shopping last night if that counted for anything. The weather was finally starting to cool down, and he was getting in to the Christmas spirit. He had spent most of his free time decorating his apartment; he had strung lights up around the living room and even put up and decorated his tree. He was talking about his amazing decorating skills to his friend, Glenn, when an idea popped into his mind: lights tour. It would be no fun if he went by himself to look at the crazy—maybe over the top— houses, so Chord decided to invite Naya and Dianna.

It had been a while since he got to spend time with the two girls. Since their characters had graduated last year, he didn’t see them on set that often, especially Dianna. So he was excited when they agreed to come along. Chord pulled on a grey hoodie over his shirt then put on a light jacket on over that. It may be December, but it wasn’t cold enough to break out his winter coat. He placed a black beanie on his head before grabbing his phone and his keys and heading out the door, pulling it shut and locking it.

Chord made it to his car and started the engine, letting it run for a minute or so in order for the vehicle to warm up. After buckling himself in, Chord backed out of his spot in the parking lot and headed off to Naya’s. He caught a glimpse of some houses, lit up with reds, greens, and blues, and smiled to himself as he thought of the evening ahead. Once he arrived at the Latina’s he got out, leaving the car running—he figured it wouldn’t take long to get them out of the house. Chord lightly jogged up to her door to avoid the slight breeze and knocked, rocking back and forth as he waited for the door to open.
